Know Your Rights & Constitutional Observer Training

Join us for a practical, plain language training session led by Julio Zelaya of ACLU-MN. This session is designed for community members — no legal background required — who want to feel more confident, informed and prepared to look out for one another.

What actually happens if you’re stopped by police? What are your rights if you are at a rally, community event, or just walking in your neighborhood? How can regular neighbors safely observe and document what’s happening in public spaces? Get answers to these questions and more. Sign up is required, on a first come, first served basis. Capacity for the training is 200 people.
