SHA’s Zoning and Land Use Committee will be meeting on Wednesday, January 31 at 7 pm at the Linwood Rec Center. One item is currently on the agenda, which is a request by the applicant at 949 Goodrich Avenue to install a solar panel system on a pergola constructed on top of the existing open, covered front porch without prior zoning approval. The required front porch setback for this block is 24”. The porch has a nonconforming front yard setback of 20.75’; the pergola continues along the same front yard setback as the porch for a variance request of 3.75’.
