Be a Volunteer-at-large
The Summit Hill Association always needs volunteers. For community members who want to help out, but don’t want to commit to a particular committee or run for the board, there are many other ways to help out in ways that are flexible and can fit your schedule:
Help out in the office. Whether it’s answering phones, helping with mailings, taking on a special short-term project, we can use your help!
- Staff or work on an event. In addition to the biannual Summit Hill House Tour [Pat, link to that tab], throughout the year we have several fundraisers and other events such as our annual meeting which are not only fun to attend, but need volunteers to help with pre- and post-event activities, as well as assist onsite at the event, itself.
- Summit Hill Community Garden. Even for those who don’t have time for their own plot, 50% of the garden is devoted to Community Supported Agriculture, so for those with a yen to garden, this is a great way to help out.
