Summit Hill Neighborhood Garage Sale May 3rd

The Summit Hill Association will once again sponsor a Spring Neighborhood Garage Sale. The sale will be held on Saturday, May 3rd, from 9 a.m. until mid-afternoon. Buying used goods saves money and gives you a chance to help the environment by recycling. Selling used items helps you clean out your attic basement or garage and if you can’t sell it or don’t want to keep it, bring it to the Neighborhood Cleanup Day the following Saturday, May 10th. 

Registration fee!
For a $15 registration fee from participating households, the Summit Hill Association compiles a list of sales, makes that list available the week before the sale and provides a bright yellow “Summit Hill Garage Sale” poster. We also advertise in the two daily city-wide newspapers and in smaller neighborhood papers. Participating residents coordinate and staff their own garage sales and keep all proceeds. Consider having your own sale or join together with a neighbor. We must have 20 participants in order to hold the sale. If you wish to participate, please fill out the form below at send it to the SHA office.

Flyers with the locations of all participating sales noting categories of items for sale and the official SHA Garage Sale signs can be picked up after Thursday, May 1st at the information table outside the SHA office in the Linwood Community Center.  On the day of the sale, each sale location will also have flyers available.  For more information about the garage sale, call the SHA office at 222-1222.
