Boogie with SHA in the
Grand Old Day Parade - Sun., June 1, 2008

The Summit Hill Association will once again participate in this year's Grand Old Day Parade sponsored by the Grand Avenue Business Association (GABA). The parade will begin 10 a.m. (line-up at 9 a.m.) at Grand & Fairview, bringing energetic community spirit and gusto up the avenue until its ends at Grand & Dale.

This year's theme, as chosen by GABA, is "Flashback to the 70"s" to commemorate Grand Old Day's special 35th Anniversary. Summit Hill Association's parade unit has grown over the past two years, and we plan to continue the momentum by gathering a huge group of "groovy" neighbors to join in behind the bright Summit Hill Association banner.

Pull out those platform shoes, try on that leisure suit, or get down in your killer-diller sweater vest!  Please invite your friends, family, neighbors, disco partners to join us.  Break out your bikes, skates, wagons, strollers, paint up a nifty sign (maybe with your street name on it!), and celebrate your block, apartment building and/or condo association.
