Committee Goal: | Coordinate the annual spring cleanup, maintain the Linwood Park upper gardens, coordinate the Sam Morgan native prairie restoration project, bring important environmental issues to the attention of the SHA Board, work on other neighborhood beautification projects. | |

Accomplishments:
| - Established and maintaining the Sam Morgan Prairie at Linwood Park
- April 2007 Sam Morgan Prairie restoration burn and Sept. 2007 Replanting Project
- Established and maintaining the Linwood Park upper gardens
- Installed underground watering system for maintainence of Linwood Park upper gardens
- Coordinate the Annual Neighborhood Spring Clean Up
- Promote weekly curbside recycling
- Host Annual Neighborhood Garage Sales

- Work with Grand Avenue Business Association to promote reducing/recycling on Grand Avenue
- Promote neighborhood environmental stewardship through new "green" column in The Summit newsletter
- Planning quarterly public information sessions on environmental issues
